SHARING BLESSINGS. Imus City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Editha M. Atendido receives donated books in behalf of M2ES Principal III Mrs. Cristina M. Ben from generous M2ESians during the launching of the school’s mobile library.
Responding to the need for more book collections, M2Esians continue to give books to fill the first-ever mobile library, according to school librarian. The idea of building a mobile library for M2ES is an innovation new to Imus City division, according to Mrs. Julie Ann C. Ramos, school librarian during its launching in Malagasang II Elementary School on August 9. “A big school needs to have a functional library. With the support from the principal, the idea of making a mobile library became a reality,” Mrs. Ramos said. The MUNPARLAS Library Association, Inc., a SEC registered organization of librarians in the Muntinlupa, Paranaque and Las Piñas in Metro Manila was a major contributor to the success of the mobile library realization. SDS Dr. Editha A. Atendido praised the innovation and encouraged M2ESians to spend more time reading books. Also, the GPTA President Juanito V. Videña offered to station volunteer parents to facilitate the use of the mobile library. M2ESians can freely take any story book they like to read while squatting on rubber mats. The mobile library will be rolled back and forth the primary and intermediate grades buildings.
